Cascina Gilli was born in 1983 from the intuition of Gianni Vergnano, who believed in the unique value of the Castelnuovo Don Bosco territory. The first bottles, launched in 1985, immediately obtained important national recognition. Since then, the company has consistently enhanced the native grape varieties of the Piedmontese hills. A project that combines respect for the terroir, tradition, and innovative vision. 🍇

Welcomed on the terrace overlooking the vineyards, embraced by the vines of our Bricco Gilli, our guests are guided through a tasting of 4 local native wines, a selection that has marked the history of Cascina Gilli. The tour includes the inevitable glass of Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco.
Tasting of Excellence
Always welcomed in the heart of our vineyards and then seated in the internal tasting room or the panoramic outdoor areas, our wine lovers will be accompanied in the tasting of 4 wines, at least 2 of which are Superior labels: Freisa, Nebbiolo, and Barbera in their most structured and complex expression. A selection to “spoil” oneself with great red wines. The tasting ends with the iconic Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco.
Vintage Tasting
A path dedicated to those who wish to find the time to taste our wines by immersing themselves without haste in their nuances, learning to know the great potential of some of our labels. The tasting includes 5 wines: 2 in steel style and 3 “Superior” wines, including a glass of an old vintage from the winery’s private collection.

Cycle and Taste – e-bike tour with a stop at the Farmhouse.
Book your e-bike with us, with or without a guide, and experience a panoramic itinerary among hills, vineyards, and historic villages. You will pedal to the Albugnano viewpoint, the highest point of Monferrato, then continue through suggestive country churches and majestic Romanesque abbeys, such as the extraordinary Abbey of Vezzolano, an authentic jewel of Piedmontese Romanesque. Upon your return, we will welcome you on the terrace for a relaxing tasting with a view.
Cascina Gilli’s nature walks offer an authentic way to explore the territory through a scenic loop trail that crosses hilltops, rural chapels and peaceful countryside paths. The experience can be enriched with a picnic backpack, ideal for a toast among the vineyards or a relaxing break immersed in nature. It’s a wonderful activity for those who love walking, photography and discovering the rural soul of the Monferrato.

Prefer walking? We will provide you with a paper map to follow a suggestive nature loop: from Cascina Gilli towards the crest of the hill, passing by the suggestive country churches of Cornareto and San Michele. An authentic way to immerse yourself in the landscape, before or after your taste experience. The proposal includes the possibility to take a mini picnic backpack with you for a toast among the vineyards!
