Not far from Turin, the landscape gently transforms: the city gives way to the soft rolling hills of Monferrato, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape, where vineyards, villages and castles create a timeless panorama to be discovered through a slow and evocative journey among nature, history and authentic traditions.

The itinerary includes the discovery of Castello di Robella, a charming historic residence belonging to the ADSI Piemonte circuit (Italian Historic Houses Association), opened exclusively for us. This private visit, guided directly by the noble owners, leads through halls, courtyards and rooms that tell centuries of life, family memories and the stories of a land deeply connected to its rural aristocracy.

The picturesque hilltop village of Cocconato, known as the “Riviera of Monferrato”, will enchant us with a pleasant walk through its streets, among artisan shops and panoramic viewpoints. From here, spectacular views open over vineyards and, on clear days, as far as the Alpine arc, in a continuous succession of colours and perspectives.

As the sun begins to set, the experience continues with a guided visit to Poggio Ridente Winery, a local wine estate, to discover the culture of wine and the region’s winemaking traditions, concluding with a tasting that highlights the aromas, flavours and identity of the territory.

A unique itinerary that captures the true soul of Monferrato: UNESCO hills and landscapes, historic residences, authentic villages, local wines and the timeless charm of a land where history, nature and tradition blend in perfect harmony.

The journey continues through the most authentic flavours of the region with a visit to the Latteria di Cocconato, an excellence of Piedmontese cheesemaking tradition.
